Thomas Pruett is a Christian family man who’s an energetic and passionate addition to the
REPTN family and enjoys using his gifts and love of people to help everyone who crosses his
path. Born in central-southern Illinois, he joined the Air Force out of high school and while stationed in Washington state, flew all over world. He and his wife Amy met while he was in military and upon getting out of the Air Force found themselves moving to coastal Oregon, western Texas, western South Dakota and then western Oregon with Thomas attaining a degree in Bible and serving churches as a pulpit minister in the latter three states. Along the way they added five children (soon to be six in January 2026!) and finally moved to central Tennessee in 2024, where they plan on raising their family and planting deep roots.
Thomas loves the Cumberland Valley and has an infectious enthusiasm for people to
experience everything the community and locale has to offer. While he’s totally and permanently 100% disabled due to conditions from his military service, Thomas chose to do real estate not because he must have a job but because he loves helping people attain their personal and business goals. With having moved so much, He knows how important a reliable and available realtor is, especially ones that will go the extra mile to help you and learn all they can about what you need and what house would be perfect for you. Having used the VA loan several times, he’s personally and professionally familiar with all that benefit has to offer. Thomas and Amy have investment goals and understand the value and security investment homes provide. But it’s the relationships, being there to help people in an exciting life circumstance, and making it an easy, great experience for them is what drives Thomas. It’s not about the house, it’s all about the people who may live in it, and that’s what drives Thomas’ real estate career. When not running about Cookeville for clients, Thomas spends as much time at home with his wife and children, where they’re usually playing games, cooking and baking, or exploring the next Lego set or world in Minecraft their children have created. He’s an avid outdoorsman who camps, hikes, fishes, kayaks, canoes, and hunts as often as he can along with his wife and kids who also enjoy the outdoors. He’d be happy to take you fly fishing to celebrate a closing!
